I will be appearing in an episode of the acclaimed German TV Show SCHULD (Shades of Guilt). I got to work with my wonderful friend and colleague FLORENCE KASUMBA. We had a blast! Stay tuned for the air date.

The feature film EYE FOR AN EYE was shot in Cornwall in November 2017. I played Bill in this revenge story written and directed by Alex Jovanoski. The film is currently in post-production towards a fall 2018 release.

Margarethe von Trotta

Great news: I'm currently preparing to play the character of Lawrence in an upcoming film-project by Margarethe von Trotta - a comedy set in Manhattan. I couldn't be more grateful and excited to have a chance to work with this legendary director.
Bring it on 2017 - I'm ready!

Trapper played it's final performance on November 21st after a 3 week run at the West 4th Street Theatre in New York City. Here's what one of the reviews said about Matthew's performance:

"Magazine owner Rory (Matthew Sanders) is heartbreaking in his support and love for Jillian, but his monologue about realizing that he was not cut out to be a war correspondent or any other sort of serious journalist is one of the highlights of the play."

My latest project "SHE" was just finished and I have added the short film in the REEL section in its entirety. It really is quite short - but I'm proud of it! Please check it out!!
